Friendly reception staff and nearby public transport to Venice. The price was good, too.
The air conditioning was a joke, room didn't get cool. In the bathroom, the paint was peeling off the ceiling and the walls were stained with mildew. The WC seat was loose and slipped back and forth. And there were ants in the room. Breakfast wasn't very good either.

The hotel is conveniently located near public transport, making it easy to get to Venice.
The breakfast selection was rather basic, and I was disappointed with the lack of fresh fruit options.

Staff is very friendly.
Poor insulation to the corridor - only wall plasters. You've heard every move made by other guests.

We loved the easy bus access to Venice, especially with our special needs son's autism support dog. Traveling with a large family can be challenging, but their friendly staff made it smoother. We even visited the nearby casino, fun for everyone!
My kids wished the breakfast offered more variety.

The staff were all very nice. The rooms were clean.
There was little choice at breakfast. But it was super cheap for that.

Altieri suited us as we had a car and didn't want to drive out to Venezia itself. Altieri has good, free parking, and is on the bus route- made it all very easy. The real strength is the fantastic couple who run it- so warm and welcoming, with good information about venice's attractions and where to eat etc. Our room was pleasant, not huge but the altieri has a little lounge area with comfortable seating etc. This was the best value hotel we stayed in in Italy.

helpful staff but limited dining options
The staff were really helpful and accommodating . The hotel is conveniently located near public transport. Our room was cozy, clean, and provided a comfortable atmosphere for a restful night. I appreciated that they allowed us to store our luggage after checkout, very convenient.
Dining options were somewhat limited, with fewer eateries directly nearby.

Inexpensive, old fashioned budget hotel with great bus connection to Venice. The breakfasts were fine, plenty of parking. WIFI worked well in the room.
